cant grumble for 10.99 September 28, 2008

I bought this set for my job as a gas fitter, for 10.99 your not going to get top grade tools but these are fairly decent for the price , idealy for DIY but i find them little lightweight for daily use , ive now had them for around 6 month and none of the drivers have broken like some of the cheap tin foil versions you can pick up , but the box they come in did fall apart and the flexible extension for the socket set broke, there is a good variety of drivers for most jobs although the philips drivers arent great ,the handles on all of the screwdrivers arent the most ergonomic, but again its only 10.99 for about 16 screwdrivers and all the bits and bobs so you cant go wrong with these for ocasional use , for daily use i would spend a bit more money

Lovely screwdivers BUT the rest is rubbish, why include no less than 44 sockets, adapter and screw bits when there is no driver for them.
Frankly dont bother. There is no way these ar JCB approved, they are better than this set !!!!!!!!!!
I only put one star on the 'How do you rate this item' because this message wont send with Zero!!!!

The variety of drivers you get in this set for under 10 is really excellent. Plus they come in a compact handy plastic case. The quality seems fine to me - the rubberised handles are much easier to grip than solid plastic ones, and the chrome vanadium shafts should last a long time. You even get a reasonable socket set too - what more could you ask?!
Really happy with this product - 5 stars!

I bought this set from Amazon sometime back and never really got to use it until now.The quality is good when screwing or unscrewing you can feel the firm grip on the screw as you twist,hardly causing any ware on either the screw head or driver head,however the driver heads are painted black and you will see the paint coming off eventually .The fantastic assortment of drivers to choose from is jaw droping for DIY fanatics.The only gripe I would have is that they should have included a stubby flat screw driver as they only include a star one,hey but for the price you can't really complain JCB almost got this one right,and at an AMAZING PRICE from AMAZING AMAZON.All I can say is get your self a bargin before the price goes up.

i purchased this set because i had a few screwdrivers but not a full set i thought the case looked good quality but when i opened it one of the screwdrivers fell out and would not stay into the space it was made for (perhaps i should have returned it) i thought overall for the price it wasn't too bad.
