Unreliable but fast December 28, 2008 Mr. Philip Caterer 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am now on my second one of these and when they work they inflate fast and the digital gague makes life really easy. Simply tap in the pressure you want the tyre to be, press the on switch and it does it for you. The downside is that they go wrong. The first one broke within a week with the compressor refusing to turn on hence it would not inflate the tyres. The second one worked for two months and now this one refuses to turn on even though it still reads the tyre pressure. Unreliable in my view so choose another one instead.
Did not work December 25, 2008 Amazon Fan (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This unit was heavy, of an awkward shape and with no storage bag. So to keep it tidy, you have to keep it in its original box. Worse of all, it did not perform well. When you inflate your tyres, you expect the digital reading to gradually increase to the desired pressure. The reading on my unit swung wildly and randomly, so you had no idea what pressure you have reached. You need to stop and manually check. Also note that this unit has no automatic cut off when you reach your desired pressure. I replaced it with an RAC unit instead.
fine for a year December 21, 2008 P. C. ADAMS (wales) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Worked well for a year, accurate (checked) and quick. Then......display numbers all over the place, pumped for only a few seconds, sometimes wouldn't pump at all.
Michelin should be ashamed of themselves
Avoid
Mine was very loud... December 18, 2008 mongrel (Wales) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
.......so loud I had to use earplugs. I wouldn't turn this on near my kids.
Works well September 22, 2008 Adam Franklin (Oxford, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Inflates tyres quickly and, as far as I can tell, accurately. I always carry it in the car for peace of mind, the only problem is that it's a bit noisy but that hardly matters!
