 Powerful and Compact January 3, 2009

Following the short life of our old vacuum cleaner, we needed another one and as electrolux is a well known and quality brand, we went for a vacuum cleaner from their range. I have to start of by saying this vacuum cleaner is great value for money. When we bought it, we couldn't believe how powerful it was. As well as being great at sucking up small pieces of stuff left lying around, it is also very good at sucking up hair - usually a challenge for the normal vacuum cleaner. Anyway, this it has a powerslider so you can change the level of suction. I have to say that it still performs well even if being run on low suction. The usefulness of this feature is high as sometimes, when you are hoovering flat and hard surfaces such as floor tiles, you sometimes need a lower level of suction. to make it easier to push the suction pad.
I have to merit that this vacuum cleaner is incredibly compact for its level of power - it is unbelievable how small and powerful some things can get as time passes.
My only criticism would be that it is ocassionaly hard to pull the hoover around, especially on carpets. Due to this fault, it sometimes flips over but this is no big issue. This hoover also comes with loads of tools to help you with different jobs that a hoover is used for such as cleraning the sofa or getting in to hard-to-reach places. The bags are also quite easy to change once you get the hang of it.
Overall, this is a great liitle hoover with a huge amount of power. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a HUGE house as the capacity of the hoover isn't actually that big, but anyone with a small house/flat, this is a great buy. :)

Great little compact hoover. Good suction power. Doesn't just roll hairballs around. Does exactly what is says! Great value.

Was guided by other reviews and am very pleased with this little gem. Very light practical , neat and does what it says on the tin. Only fed up cos wanted to buy another 1 for my Dad and they've gone up 10 = 25% !! come on amazon it's quite off putting when you do this .
If you do buy this you won't be disappointed

My (very) expensive Dyson having expired after years of not entirely unproblematic service I thought I'd try something at the other end of the range - and this does exactly what it says on the tin - its powerful (and adjustable) and light - almost featherweight - so very easy to carry around. Being small obviously introduces compromises - the electric flex is not quite as long as I'd like - but then again carrying it to the next power outlet is very easy. If you have a large area to vacuum this might prove irritating - but for small areas its ideal and excellent value.

I just had to write in and let other shoppers know that this is the best vacuum I have ever used. Last month I bought a very expensive vacuum/carpet washer which was too heavy to pull along behind me. And which unfortunately smelled of rotten grass when the water tank was emptied down the loo - a vile job. I was also unable to pull the attachments off the hose easily - I had to stand on them to get them off. In despair I threw my new vacuum in the bin and bought this dinky little Electrolux. I didn't expect it to work at the low price - but it is brilliant. It lifts everything, makes hardly any noise and is so light I can carry it around the house by hand. It has a washable dust bag and is easy to store away, it's so small. I can't say how pleased I am with this vacuum cleaner - I wouldn't even mind getting one of these for Christmas. Lovely colour, too, I use it to clean everything: curtains, cupboards, drawers, stairs, bundles of wiring - easy with the adjustable setting. A top product. I love it. 100 stars.
