Product Description Sony Ericsson's W205 takes music on the move to another level. Play a few seconds of a great song you hear on the built-in FM radio and TrackID will name that tune. Use the powerful speaker to share what you're enjoying-or send it wirelessly to a friend. You can even record your own ringtone from the radio on the Sony Ericsson W205 music phone. This is the original Walkman experience - only better. Grab what's playing on the MP3 player or radio and use it as your ring tone. And carry up to 500 songs by slotting in a 2GB M2 memory card. Looking for more? How about a great 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom, screen viewfinder, dedicated menus and direct interaction with in-phone imaging and messaging features? Perfect for capturing those unmissable moments. That's not all - the Sony Ericsson W205 has four personal phone books, support for Bluetooth wireless connectivity, picture messaging and even an Opera web browser. All this wrapped up in a sleak slider that measures less than 10cm long and 2cm deep. What more could you ask for? What's in the box? The W205 handset comes complete with battery, charger and a handsfree headset.

Perfect for 9 - 12 Year olds as a first phone.. August 17, 2010 urbanfantasist (On the beach, Cornwall) I won't go through all the specs, all I can say is I did not want to spend more than £30 quid on a phone , but I wanted a place to put a memory card, camera, ability to shuffle & play music & of course text & make calls, it does all this perfectly well & you do get what you pay for. I was thrilled this came with a 1gb memory stick & it is a good looking phone & a perfect size for little hands. The only thing I will say is the ear phones are a little big for small ears but you cannot have everything.
If your an adult though I would not recommend, I feel this is more a kiddy phone than anything else...
Basic phone - does the job July 30, 2010 Dobbynog Not many new phones around for this price so worth it if you just want to make calls and send texts. Feels a little bit flimsy. Texting can be a bit frustrating as phone struggles to keep up. The radio works well and has much better reception than other phones I've used.
not that bad, honest June 24, 2010 Schrodinger's cat (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good value phone if you want music.
good points
Easy to add mp3s from a computer. You do need to buy a cable, but then you just drag and drop suitably tagged mp3 files and you're ready to go, with songs easily selectable by album or artist. Factor in the cost of a memory card for a decent amount of storage.
Radio reception is good, but you have to have the hands free plugged in to act as an aerial.
Easy operating system, very intuitive.
Not so good:
No standard headphone jack socket. You need to buy an adapter for this.
Takes a while to read your music files from the memory card after you switch the phone on.
Not tried:
Downloaded games.
Bluetooth connections.
For 29.99, a good little phone.
